  1. Hai,

My husband suffered from adult ADHD ( attention deficit disorder), one of the treatment recommended is yoga. Anybody knows what type of yoga that cater for this? Oh by the way he is also suffering from neck pain, so maybe we need to incorporate that element into the type of yoga classes that we need to choose. Any help? Currently we are living near USM, Penang

    TQ for help

    • I would suggest that your husband has his neck treated first before he starts a yoga class. I can suggest osteopathy or even cranial sacral therapy. You can find recommendations on my Penang spirit website. The reason I suggest this is that unless your husband attends a beginners class he may not get the attention he needs which may make his neck pain worse. Another point about ADHD. There is so much evidence suggesting that a nutritionally poor diet can cause the symptoms. Perhaps this is an area that you need to look at. I would suggest looking at adopting a vegetarian/vegan low fat diet and cutting out sugar and processed foods. Hope this helps.

    • I cannot personally recommend any yoga studios in that area. Apart from Qi Yoga, there is Happi Yoga at No. 37, Jalan Perniagaan Gemilang 1, Pusat Perniagaan Gemilang, 14000 Bukit Mertajam, telephone 012-928 9763 and Mei Yen Lee, telephone 012 529 5218. I don’t know anything about these places. Perhaps you can contact them and report back. Thank you.
